Mississippi Lime’s supply chain includes barge, rail and truck transportation. In addition to our production facilities in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and Vicksburg, Mississippi (see Falco Lime), we have strategically located distribution terminals to efficiently maximize transportation and provide the customer with the most cost effective delivery option.
Ste. Genevieve Production and Terminal Facility
The terminal facility is located on the Mississippi River in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri a few miles from our plant site. The facility offers high volume rail-to-barge unloading.
Falco Lime Production and Terminal Facility
Located on the Mississippi River in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Falco Lime offers a combination of barge, rail and truck facilities. Falco Lime can coordinate and handle various bulk product transfer functions including barge-to-storage, rail-to-truck and rail-to-storage. Large steel-bolted and welded storage tanks with state-of-the-art dust control equipment provide the needed storage inventory.
Upper Ohio River Valley Terminal Facilities
Mississippi Lime provides barge-to-rail/truck terminaling services at the following locations:
- Wellsville, Ohio -- Located on the Ohio River in Northeastern Ohio, material can be off loaded from a barge and stored in dedicated silos. The silos have the ability to load into both dump and pneumatic trucks.
- Weirton, West Virginia – Located on the Ohio River in Northeastern Ohio, material can be off loaded from a barge and stored in dedicated silos. The silos have the ability to load into both dump and pneumatic trucks.
Near West / Midwest Terminal Facilities
Mississippi Lime provides rail-to-truck transfer services at the following locations:
- Edwardsville, Kansas – Located near Kansas City, Kansas, this facility has dedicated storage for Mississippi Lime products. The material from the silo can be loaded into both dump and pneumatic trucks.
- Chicago, Illinois – Located south of the city, this facility has dedicated storage for Mississippi Lime products. The material from the silo can be loaded into both dump and pneumatic trucks.
- Ft. Collins, Colorado – Located north of Denver, this facility has dedicated storage for Mississippi Lime hydrated lime. The material from the silo can be loaded into pneumatic trucks only.
