Hydrated lime is a versatile reagent for Dry Sorbent Injection. Our testing has shown that Mississippi Lime hydrated lime will neutralize acid gases over a wide temperature range.

Hydrated lime does not form unstable byproducts or intermediates over the range of temperatures in the above table. Because of this, injection of hydrated lime can be adjusted to optimize factors such as residence time, particulate collection efficiency, and co-injection of other sorbents (carbon for mercury removal).
